So you guys know Im not some spammer, but a real dude who has talked to yous all about bikes. Ive fifty-fifty made existent-life friends here in this forum.

Im shocked.

I was told by everyone nether the sun that Seafoam was the side by side all-time thing to buying a new engine. Ppl rave almost it.

When I walked into Autozone final weekend, I asked for Seafoam and the service person directed me to information technology, but told me Lucas Engine Consummate treatment is better and was on auction. What the heck...iI bought it.

I pulled my 72 CB750 out of the garage (to give my KZ750 and KZ650 a much needed rest), and poured the Lucas Engine Handling into the TANK, not the crankcase.

All I tin can say is, MY GOD! This stuff is amazing. My bike PURS and the idle is much more steady.

Im have NO ties to Lucas at all, just passing on some good info. This stuff is astonishing!!!

I'll have to give it a endeavour. I like my chemicals. I used Sea Cream for a while, then came across Chevron'due south Techron, that seemed to me at least, to work better than Sea Cream.

For winterizing, I as well moved away from Stabil after using information technology for years. I came across Starbrite's Star Tron, and over again, from my experiences, works ameliorate that Stabil.

If the Lucas brew, doesn't perform upward to snuff, I'll run the remainder through my automobile. For ten bucks or and so, it's worth a shot.

:pinch: :woohoo:  :(

I judge it has been a while. This is one of the very few topics that will bring out as much heated give-and-take as what brand of oil to use.

Marine Stabil will go on the varnish at bay. Great stuff. I go a little heavy on the dose and oasis't constitute a downside.

Dumped some Techron into the tank of my kids machine since it has been sitting while (he'due south away at school) and it threw some OBDII codes. Not sure if it helped simply the car runs nice at present (afterward I replaced the O2 sensors). Can't hurt just don't wait information technology to "ready" anything.

From what I've heard on other forums, Seafoam is bad for fuel-injected engines. I used to run it through the V8 on my old Pontiac and information technology did wonders, but take been warned Not to use it on my new SUV. Instead, the Techron has been suggested repeatedly for the fuel-injection and as my truck approaches 150k miles I'grand finding it makes more of a noticeable difference.

I notwithstanding had Seafoam on the shelf though, so I dumped some in the tank on my bike. Considering the crap I had to clean out of the carbs I figured the seafoam would be slap-up to help affluent out anything I missed.

Hmm... I wonder what happens if you lot pour Pine-Sol direct in the tank? :)

Yep , Its simply similar the never ending oil debate
And the best tire debate,
And the best gasket argue LMAO
And so Why not
I went from the worlds best product Stabil
To Seafoam
To Starbrite Star Tron.
Currently My friendly marine mechanic swears by Star tron and I Practise believe it is a good production.
But will tomorrows new best of the all-time exist ???????????
I just finished using my supply of seafoam , so star tron is my next purchase.
Or kickoff using ethanol free gas at 5 bucks a gallon or more than.

It seem to have made a difference to me. I added it to each fill up (4), the cycle sounds smoother and tighter. After just the commencement 30 miles the idle came up a trivial. I thought information technology was the mix that was doing it but I just filled up the tank over again without it and information technology even so seems better. This fourth dimension I ran it on reserve then I could fill information technology with fresh gas. I never believed in tune up in a can merely the Sea Foam seemed to work on these old 33 Mik'southward.

I just have it apart and clean chit never employ snake oils.

That's my strategy likewise. I've always marvelled at how I'm the only one that finds these additives oasis't washed annihilation in any vehicle I've ever tried them in.

Speaking of Marvel (last mail) I have been using Marvels Mystery Oil In every engine I take had for 44 years! Lawnmower, snowblower, weed wackers. And my former Shovelhead with the original soft valve seats made for leaded fuel. And the Hemi AA/Gasser! Keeps blower lubed with the methanol fuel. Plus in my 2008 Ford F150 V-8 religiously Truck only has 54,000 miles. Run your finger in across the tail pipage, and your finger stays clean. Got good burn going. No soot or carbon! Is it the LUCAS? I don't know, and don't care. I'll keep using it in the fuel! I get a gallon for $25.99 wholesale price
Plus they (LUCAS) are nifty sponsors of all types of motor racing. Peculiarly the NHRA elevate racing
